Service Terms & Conditions
1) Scope of services
DuoFix provides home repair, maintenance and improvement services (“Services”) as agreed with the client via WhatsApp/email/quote.
2) Packages and time
Packages include a fixed amount of working time (e.g., 3h / 4h / 6h) starting from arrival at the work location. We work efficiently and professionally and focus on completing tasks properly.
3) Extra time
If additional time is required and the client asks us to continue, extra time is charged at €85 per hour (two-person team). We will always inform you before continuing.
4) Two-person team
DuoFix works as a two-person team on every job (technical work + clear communication). Pricing is per job/package — not per person.
5) Materials and purchases
Materials are not included unless explicitly stated in the quote.
Clients can:
provide materials themselves, or
ask DuoFix to purchase materials on their behalf (charged separately with receipt).
If unsuitable materials/tools are provided and would compromise quality, we may propose alternatives.
6) Quotes and changes
Quotes are based on the information provided (photos, measurements, description). If the scope changes on site, we will confirm any additional work and cost before proceeding. WhatsApp confirmation is accepted.
7) Payments
Payment is due upon completion unless agreed otherwise in writing. Payment methods: Tikkie / bank transfer / other agreed method. In some cases (larger jobs/material-heavy projects), a deposit may be requested and will be agreed upfront.
8) Weekends & urgent jobs
Currently, weekend work is charged at the same rate as weekdays. Urgent jobs are handled case by case. Pricing for weekends/urgent work may change in the future.
9) Cancellations and rescheduling
Please reschedule at least 48 hours in advance. Late cancellations may incur a call-out fee if time and travel were reserved.
10) Access and client responsibilities
Client must provide safe access to the work area and disclose relevant conditions (parking, stairs/lift, access restrictions). The client should secure valuables and personal documents.
11) Cleanliness and protection
We protect the work area and clean up before leaving. Some dust/noise is normal for certain tasks (e.g., drilling, sanding, flooring work).
12) Photos (internal + optional public use)
DuoFix may take before/after photos for internal documentation.
Public marketing use (website/social media) requires client permission. We do not intentionally publish personal data (faces, documents, addresses).
13) Warranty and limitations
We perform services with reasonable professional care. Warranty does not cover misuse, third-party work, or pre-existing/hidden defects. If issues arise, contact us promptly and we’ll assess.
14) Liability
To the extent permitted by Dutch law, DuoFix is not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Nothing limits liability where it cannot legally be limited.
